Pole House Looks Like It's Floating Above The Ocean And You Can Rent It

The Pole House may not sound like an extravagant beach house, but it offers an astounding one-of-a-kind view of Australia.

This spectacular oceanfront property is perched 131-feet above Fairhaven Beach in Australia which gives it an appearance that it is magically suspended over the sea.

The journey to the beautiful home starts with a dramatic 76-foot-long walkway with glass balustrades that makes you seem like you're walking on air. Once inside the home, you are presented with picturesque ocean views thanks to floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The giant transparent outside walls actually retract to allow for aromatic ocean breezes and sounds of crashing waves.

The Pole House is more suited for a romantic getaway since it only offers one bedroom and one bathroom. The newly renovated interior features a hanging fireplace, a stylish modern kitchen and ensuite bathroom complete with soft towels.

This dazzling modern domicile was designed by F2 Architecture. Some of the amenties that the house offers is air conditioning, a dishwasher, fine linens, plush pillows, television and DVD player.

According to View Retreats, you can rent this dazzling home for $440 - $1,120 per night.

The original property has been considered a landmark of the Great Ocean Road since 1978. Kathi and Raymond Adams bought The Pole House for over $1.1 million in 2005, and started planning the renovation in 2007. The house was starting to fall apart after 40 years, so the new owners demolished it last year to make way for a more modern structure.
