NethRealm Studios is merely a few months away from unleashing their much-anticipated game "Injustice 2." To further entice the awaiting fans, the popular game developer released a new trailer for the game and even confirmed that three new characters will be added to the list of playable heroes.
Avid fans of the fighting game "Injustice 2" will be pleased to know that they are in for a treat once the game is finally on the shelves. NetherRealm Studios has released a teaser trailer featuring Black Canary in action flaunting her graceful MMA style grappling moves. Moreover, GameSpot that NetherRealm Studios has recently updated their official website and confirmed the availability of three rumored characters.
Apparently, Bane, Brainiac, and Poison Ivy were all previously seen and rumored to be part of the roster of playable characters of "Injustice 2." Thanks to the recent update from NetherRealm Studios, the three are now confirmed to be available in the game filled with DC heroes and villains.
"Injustice 2" has done well in fanning the flames of excitement for the fans and many are now looking forward to all the new characters that are set to make their debut in May. Aside from the ever feisty Black Canary, Blue Beetle, Gorilla Grodd, and Super Girl will also be part of the upcoming fighting game.
According to GameRant, bits and pieces of the plot may be hidden in the recently released trailer for "Injustice 2." It is known that Super Girl will play a vital role in the game's plot, however, what that role is exactly is still vague. While Black Canary is hinted to have bad blood with Blue Beetle as he makes an effort to take her down, probably in hopes of getting on Batman's good side. However, it is worth mentioning that the exchange of dialogue featured in the trailer may just be some sort of catchphrase spat out before a match.
Now that Bane, Brainiac, and Poison Ivy are confirmed as playable characters in "Injustice 2," fans are now keeping their eyes peeled for any confirmation for other rumored characters. Many players have high hopes of getting Spawn and Sub-Zero in the upcoming fighting game. Everything will be revealed once the game is out on May 16th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS, and Android.
