New Modern Style: Dark Trendy Mood by Mole Design

Dark and trendy are the moods of modern life in the household setting shown by Mole Design Project. Aesthetic Asian traditions reflect the clean and minimalistic of modern household design in their latest feat.

Interior zone recently uploaded photos that show the Mole Design Project style that includes their interpretation of modern life. Mole Design is in Taipei, Taiwan thus having to incorporate their Asian culture with their dark and trendy modernized theme. Photos of the apartment (which they used for their exhibit) show that their design makes use of the different elements yet stick faithfully to their theme.

The modern design style not only shows the dark trendy mood but also gives off a simple yet professional vibe. There are no dramatic designs, bold prints, and bright colors in the rooms that they used instead it becomes monochromatic, rigid, and organized. Although it does contain some embellishments here and there like plants and miniature decorations but none of which give a disparity to the dark colors.

Patricia Urquiola is the designer whose Bend Sofa and oval puff give a soft texture to the dark and modern living room. The area, like most of the rooms in the house, is spacious and minimalistic. The entire apartment still contains glimpses of vintage pieces and Asian furnishings. True to their Asian roots, they feature indoor plants that give a Zen-like feel to the living space.

Mole Design used the white and beige shades against the dark trendy colors make these spaces even look wider and bigger. Despite this common design technique to give the illusion of space, the aesthetics make the overall look still appear modern. The trend they are trying to show is a cross between simplicity and complexity with dark and calm colors but with a dash of trendy and modern furniture.
