Prizeotel Opens New High-Design Budget Hotel in Hamburg

Budget accommodations that doesn’t scrimp in style is becoming one of the major trends in the hospitality industry these days. Hotel brands like Generator and Moxy have been showing the world that stylish hospitality design is very attainable even when they fall under the economy category.

This month, Prizeotel will open a new luxury budget hotel in Hamburg. Prizeotel Hamburg is the second property from the hotelier, following the success of Prizeotel Bremen.

And just like Prizeotel Bremen, the Hamburg franchise is also designed by world renowned designer Karim Rashid. Rashid has established his name in industrial and furniture design with works ranging from products, fashion, lighting, and art, among others. Rashid is also the designer for MyHotels an Nh Hotels. With Rashid’s work in both Prizeotel’s two budget accommodation, there is a lot of buzz that succeeding hotels from the brand will be taken under Rashid’s wings as well.

With its opening due to happen soon, Prizeotel Hamburg boasts of a quirky lobby design with playful chairs and generous splash of colors. The guest rooms also have its share of vivid colors and sexy lighting. The bed has a raised end for stashing the luggages. Of course, the hotel provides the essential amenities that one can find in high-end budget accommodations including free wi-Fi, 32-inch flat screen TV, rainforest shower head, a well-designed desk, and a music lamp. The hotel is also open 24/7.

Room rates for Prizeotel Hamburg starts at 59 Euros. Interested guests may start to reserve their rooms starting June 28, 2014.
