Nexus 6 Renders Bring Latest Specs Leaks To Life In Black And White

Although we've seen some recent leaks that show off the purported Nexus 6, none have really given us a great look at the device despite it's massive rumored dimensions.

That said, with the latest offerings and design rumors serving as a template, Droid-Life has put together some solid renders of the Motorola phablet, both in black and white. The images show off both the front and the back of the new Nexus, which basically looks like a supersized second-generation Moto X.

"As can be seen in each image, the power and volume buttons have indeed been moved down the body ever-so-slightly, to make for easier use with the larger frame," Droid-Life writes. "You can also see that a vertically running "Nexus" logo will grace the back, just under the Motorola logo, something that was either hidden or not yet included in last week's showing of the device next to an LG G3.

A report from last week that showed a similar mock-up was confused on the design of the back, and whether or not the Motorola dimple/logo would be present. While things can always change last minute, we are confident that the Motorola dimple/logo will be present, though its background could be a darker shade of grey depending on model."

The Nexus 6 will arrive in just a couple weeks alongside a new Nexus tablet designed by HTC, Android Authority reports.

The event will also reportedly debut "a new software initiative" believed to be Android L.

The publication's sources familiar with Google's plans tip two dates: Oct. 15 and Oct. 16 for the unveilings, but that the Android L update will not be released until Nov. 1.

An "anonymous tipster" previously informed the tech site MoDaCo's co-founder Paul O'Brien that Google is planning to introduce new Nexus products on Oct. 16.
