Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku Bags Wallpaper of the Week Title

Abduzeedo announced the winner of their Wallpaper of the Week competition and the title lands in the hands of photographer Francis Hoang's submission entitled "Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku." This choice was among the 300+ wallpaper submissions for the staff to choose.

The Wallpaper of the Week series, according to Abduzeedo, is more of an inside competition. This means that the participants are members and employees of this popular design site. They will publish the chosen pictures for their customers' screens every week. They aim to produce different content every week to encourage their artists to explore their creativity.

For this week, François Hoang got center stage as his Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku photo won Wallpaper of the Week. Hoang confessed that this photo was not a recent shot and it is a mere reminiscence of his trip to Tokyo. He said that he went through his archives and decided to pick that photo as a submission.

Hoang said that his Wallpaper of the Week winner, the Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, is a must if you decide to visit the place. One of the reasons why the subject caught Hoang's attention is its symmetry and play on lights as it reflected along its surface. The design of his subject was merely the tip of the iceberg.

According to the official site of the Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, they are a theme park whose sole goal is to entertain their customers with the trendiest items. Not only is the place a theme park, it is also a shopping center that sells objects that range from cool to quirky.  These items range from apparel to lifestyle products and goods.

The Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku photo that took the title as Abduzeedo's Wallpaper of the Week is such a mouthful to pronounce and remember. To make it easier, as Spoon & Tamago puts it, the place incorporates the name "Omohara." This is where all the latest trends in fashion and design stem from. If you go to Tokyo, don't forget to give this quaint place a visit.
