Nexus 6: AT&T Price Revealed As $50 On-Contract [Rumor]

The Google Nexus 6, which is rumored to be unveiled later today, surfaced on AT&T's website this morning, CNET reports.

The smartphone surfaced on a page dedicated to the LG G3 Vigor in a "People Also Viewed" section. After clicking on the link, viewers were brought to a page of Motorola smartphones that AT&T carries - a group that the Nexus 6 is expected to join.

The "People Also Viewed" section also offered up a price for the device: $49.99 with a contract. As CNET notes, this isn't necessarily the actual consumer cost and could just be a placeholder until the product is officially listed on the website.

Although AT&T did not carry the Nexus 5, a recent report alleged that several carriers could offer the smartphone. Google sells its Nexus devices through its Google Play Store at full retail price, as well.

According to Forbes, consumers will be able to set their eyes on the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9 tablet via a blog post today.

The Nexus 6 is expected to feature a 5.9-inch QHD display with 496ppi, a 13MP camera with OIS, a 3,200 mAh battery that is non-removable, a Snapdragon 805 chipset with a 2.65GHz quad-core Krait 450 CPU and 3GB of RAM.

Leaker @evleaks has also offered up what looks like our best look yet at the 5.92-inch device, according to The Verge.

The image shows a purported official product render of the device, seemingly confirming rumors that it will be a Moto X, but much bigger. The Nexus 6's power and volume buttons have been repositioned down for easier use and it also appears to feature a blue metal band that the publication notes could have been added to help differentiate it from Motorola's flagship.

While not too much new information can be taken from the image, it certainly gives us a great potential shot at the monstrosity up-close.
