In the hopes of making the MCH Messecenter in Herning, Denmark more attractive and coherent in terms of infrastructure, an expansion of the site is in order. Apparently, Urban Agency was commissioned to lead the expansion project and they have revealed their proposal.

According to Arch Daily, Urban Agency along with Aarhus Arkitekterne have revealed their proposal for the MCH Messecenter in Denmark.  The leading architects' goal is to make the structure more attractive and coherent with an all new focal point. As a result, the architects are planning to design two circulation routes made possible by the new entrance they designed.

Moreover, the Urban Agency architects behind the MCH Messecenter expansion have utilized foliage as design. That being said, the expansion is expected to have usable art displays with foliage accompanied by green walls. Furthermore, the architects opted to have the structure's roof take a circular form to represent the event square. The latter also features ramps that visitors can use to sit and rest while doubling as a safe haven from bad weather.

In addition, the outdoor square is designed to have multiple purposes, whereas the visitors can also enjoy various facilities including an exhibition space and even a skating rink. The latter makes the MCH Messecenter have more to offer tourists and locals alike.

The same report also highlighted a possible problem with public flow and visitor circulation in such a wide space. Ultimately, guests will be guided by security to their desired location. However, it is worth mentioning that the inconsistent ceiling heights will also serve such purpose. Nonetheless, security will be assistive when it comes to visitors finding their destination, may it be the exhibition center, skating rink, or the concert hall.

Furthermore, the backbone of the entire structure will be the public space called River of Time as reported by Urban Agency. The latter will serve as the main axis that connects the building's halls to the exhibition zone. In addition, the area will also offer guests a place of solitude with its friendly public area surrounded by lush green landscapes. There will also be an availability of snacks and other possible kiosks that guests can utilize.
