First Look At Vietnam's Proposed Cultural Center The Hanoi Lotus Centre

The Hanoi Lotus Centre is a beautifully constructed proposed multi-purpose theater and cultural center located at the capital fo Vietnam. The Austrailian Architecture firm deciBel shared the images of The Hanoi Lotus and it proves to be a wonderful representation of Vietnam's culture on the global stage.

Arch Daily reported that images of The Hanoi Lotus were released by the Austrailian Architecture firm deciBel. The proposed structure is supposedly a multi-purpose theater and cultural center situated in the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi. The latter is to be located at between the city's center and the Noi Bai Airport. 

The Hanoi Lotus Centre reflects Hanoi's artistic, cultural and economic demands that have proven to be increasing over the years. Its location is key to attract tourists and locals as well. 

Moreover, The Hanoi Lotus Centre stands from a 19ha stormwater mitigation lake featuring a whopping 2000-seating capacity as a multifunctional theater. Furthermore, the proposed infrastructure by deciBel also boasts a high-tech business incubator center, cinemas, offices, restaurants and even an ice-skating rink. All the features are sure to attract locals and tourists alike.

Meanwhile, The Hanoi Lotus Centre's architectural design is indeed inspired by the country's national flower as it boasts a pentagonal grid strongly reassembling natural artwork. The latter makes it possible for the Hanoi Lotus to successfully display a flower design with its petals taking the spotlight. The said structure is designed with fins, shells and a glazed panel making its exterior an exceptional sight. 

In addition, The Hanoi Lotus Centre also boasts a beautiful interior with its main atrium ceiling representing the colors and structure of a real lotus leaf. The artistically crafted ceiling is not limited to an aesthetic purpose, it will also supposedly guide visitors to the entrance of the auditorium.
