Tag Heuer to Release Their Very Own Android Watch; Get All the Details Here

Earlier this year it was confirmed that TAG Heuer, a Swiss watchmaker, is set to launch a new smart watch. Recently, the company just released a teaser. The Swiss company is expected to introduce the successor to the TAG Heuer Connected, an expensive smart watch that was unexpectedly sold well last year. The new smart watch will be launched on the market as “TAG Connected Modular.”

The luxury timepiece maker released in Twitter a teaser partly showing cut-out images of the new smart watch, which doesn’t reveal much. In its tweet, it also revealed that the timepiece will be unveiled on March 14, 2017 with the hashtag #connectedtoeternity.

In an interview earlier this year with CEO of TAG Heuer Jean-Claude Biver, he disclosed the specifications of the new smart watch. It features GPS, a comparatively longer battery life, better reception and an improved display. According to GSM Arena, the new smart watch will be powered by Android Wear 2.0. It will also have fully customizable lugs with a variety of straps, watch faces, buckles and clasps in several color options, where watch enthusiasts can play to customize the smart watch. It also has an automatic watch head module, which will let users switch between conventional automatic movement.

Patrons of the luxury brand will have to look forward to this new smart watch because they will experience the best of both worlds as reported by Uber GizmoThe first TAG Heuer Connected smart watch was launched in 2015 along with the news that it won’t be its last. With the success of the first smart watch which sold around 56,000 units in 14 months. Now, its successor will soon be released on March 2017.

The teaser does not say much so customers will have to stay tuned to acquire more details. All the information about the design and technical specifications of the smart watch will be confirmed at the official launch event on March 14.
