Nokia has recently announced the launch of three new android-powered smartphones- Nokia 6, 5 and 3. These phones are supposed to be in the Indian market after June. Now to understand the facilities of the mobiles, the specifications can be done through display and design. Nokia 6 is the largest (154*75.8*7.85-8.4mm), Nokia 5 is medium (149.7*72.5*8.65-8.55mm) and Nokia 3 is the smallest (143.4*71.4*8.48mm). All of them have a solid block of 6000 series aluminum.
Nokia 6 and 5 have a totally metal body while Nokia 3 gets polycarbonate metal core. Due to the super cool metal finish, Nokia 6 and 5 look better than the plastic finish Nokia 3. All the models have Gorilla Glass, Nokia 6 has 5.5-inch 1920*1080 pixels screen fully HD. While Nokia 5 and 3 are HD ready with 5.2-inch 1280*720pixels and 5-inch 1280*1080pixels respectively.
According to indiatoday, Nokia's head Ajit Mehta has confirmed that these smartphones will be made in India by Foxconn India facilities. It has been always considered that India is one of the important markets for Nokia Company. Nokia 6 and 5 have some similar qualities like- QUALCOMM Snapdragon 430, Android Nougat 7.1, a fingerprint sensor.
Nokia 3 is powered by media teck6737. Now, as storage- Nokia 6 has 3GB RAM and 32GB INTERNAL MEMORY (4GB and 64GB for Arte black) while Nokia 5 and 3 have 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. All of them have a memory card slot, micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack. They have the latest version Android Nougat 7.1 and also available with a monthly security update. It is promised that there will be no pre-uploaded app.
Now talking about the camera, Nokia 6 has the 16megapixel rear camera with autofocus, face detection, LED flash, 1µm pixels and f/2.0. Nokia 5 contains 13megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, face detection and 1.12µm pixel with f/2.0. Nokia 3 has an 8megapixel rear camera with the 1.12µm pixel, flash, f/2.0. All of them have an 8megapixel front camera with 1.12µm pixels, f/2.0 and wide angles to capture selfies.
According to recombu, in the case of battery life and price, Nokia 6 is the expensive one with a 3000mAh battery capacity. Because the screen, camera, hardware and software, all are better than the other two models. Nokia 5 has 3000mAh capacity, but Nokia 3 has 2650mAh battery capacity.
So the real contest is between Nokia 5 and 3. The price of Nokia 6 is Euros299 and Nokia 5 is Euros189 and Nokia 3 is Euros139. Nokia 6 is the flagship among the three models. But with the affordable price range, Nokia is really hoping to regain the lost pride of Android World.
