Teenager Climbs NYC's Highest Residential Building For An Instagram That Results In Arrest
A 17-year-old Instagrammer and risk-taker known as demidism successfully climbed midtown building and captured quite the photo from above the clouds of New York City. The self-proclaimed "urban historian" according to his Instagram profile has become known for scaling new heights for never seen before scenic shots.
Reported by NBC New York, demidism has been charged for trespassing and reckless endangerment atop 432 Park Avenue, one of NYC's highest residential buildings currently under construction. According to New York Magazine, when the tower is completed, it will be the city's second-tallest building.
The account seems to provide evidence that the residential tower, which will reach 1,398 feet, is not the only skyscraping location he has encountered. With 7,850 followers, the 17-year-old has several photos of questionable locations from crazy heights from locations across the city, such as the Williamsburg Bridge.
This is not the first arrest of these "urban explorers" that are trespassing non-accessible locations. Instagram profiles of 7expresstrain, Humzadeas and lastsuspect among others have been on NYPD's radar specifically since the white-flag incident on the Brooklyn Bridge just a few months ago.
