Scott Henderson, American Design Ambassador To Partner with Germany for US Design Exhibit

According to Home Furnishings News, at a press event in New York city yesterday an announcement was made introducing Scott Henderson as America's design ambassador for the Ambiente Fair.

The show will be held in February 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany and will showcase American designers displaying a variety of home product designs. Messe Frankfurt, the company that organizes Ambiente has chosen to give American products a place for special recognition at the show and during the events surrounding it.

As Henderson is the chosen designer for the fair's special partner country exhibition, he will be showcasing his Adirondack chair designs, tables, and products that represent the multiplicity of the United States.

The designer stated, "it was challenging to represent the vast United States and all of its diverse geography in a single setting, but felt that the chosen vignette presented a "welcoming environment" that visitors would be drawn to.

It will be an interesting exhibition for visitors next year as many U.S. based designers will be displaying their points of view and as an entirety, the collaboration of individuals in the collection will send a unified message to the world.

Scott Henderson operates Scott Henderson Inc., is a Co-Founder of MINT a design, manufactring, and distributing company for home accessories, and has been recognized globally while displaying his pieces in The Museum of Modern Art, SF MoMa, and the London Design Museum.

"Scott is known for his ability to transform the mundane."
