According to Vogue Australia, Pantone Color Institute Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman let out the teaser of the upcoming 2018 color trend at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. She spoke about top shades that they are currently working on to be the official next year's trend.

Vegetal shades such as foliage, Celery, and Berry-purple are some of the top Pantone color trend predictions. It symbolizes the importance of once health more than the physical being. Additionally, Blue is also another choice for the color and design authorities.

The "Playful Palette" might also be the next Pantone color trend. Lime Popsicle, Green Flash, and Skydivers are front runners for the "quirky, bright and unorthodox" shades. In contrast to these, cultural mixes such as earthy and deep tones are also sighted as the possible color of the year.
