McKinney’s Arts In Bloom 2017: Everything You need To Know

Historic Downtown McKinney's Arts in Bloom and Wine Festival is all set this coming April. Hence, here are all the interesting details you need to know about the extended three-day celebration.

Texas' festival, Arts in Bloom is McKinney Main Street's national program. It's a fundraising activity to help save its historical architectures and to strengthen public interaction. On the other hand, it's also a promotion to attract guests and tourist in the downtown area.

According to Arts in Bloom official website, the program will now run for three days, from April 7 until April 9. And it's going to happen at its usual place in Historic Downtown McKinney.

Arts in Bloom this year will be having 150 artists that will set at their place in McKinney Performing Arts Center. It will be joined by several local, regional and national recognized painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, photographers, and woodworkers.

On the event, wine tasting will also be available. Arts in Bloom officials have prepared the samples of the most exquisite wines of McKinney's Trinity Falls Texas Wine Garden and other wineries. For only $20, the guests can drink as much as 10 of it with an addition of free commemorative wine glass.

In another report by McKinney Courier-Gazette, a local newspaper, it also shared lots more activity details for Arts in Bloom. Supposedly, the art and wine exhibits aren't the only things to look forward to it.

This year Arts in Bloom will likewise have tons of stage entertainments. From music to comedy, all the visitors will surely enjoy the events prepared acts. Whereas children are also invited to the program, they can join the hands-on art activities.
