Outdoor Kitchen Is The New Trend Now According to AIA
An outdoor kitchen is a new hype in architecture today. This fact is heavily supported by the American Institute of Architect's latest study. Hence, here are the best inspirations for it. It's never too late to add more functional space in the house today.
According to Archinect, AIA's recent Home Design Trends Survey determined that most homeowners now prefer having an outdoor kitchen. The rise of this feature is not only about function but also value.
"Homeowners continue to find new ways to add value to their homes by creating more functional space, which is apparent in the rise in popularity of outdoor kitchens," AIA Chief Economist, Kermit Baker, Ph.D., Hon. AIA said in the report. "Kitchens have become a hub for the home, now homeowners want to bring some of that activity to their outside space," he continued.
For the outdoor kitchen inspirations, Country Living shared the best choices. From simple to the most elegant, find here the one that fits one's choice.
Start with creating a simple outdoor kitchen with a built-in space. It features the minimalist style so it's really easy and convenient to install and use. Next, make a cooking with an open-space. This is actually the most practical because of its less use of electricity and water.
A backyard room is also a great way to add an outdoor kitchen. This fits if the house has space outside. It's good for parties and get-together that will include lots of people. In essence, this kind of thing may also be incorporated into different styles. The example of it will a beach house-themed space.
The simple addition also of a stone grill, fire pit, and built-in barbecue area is already an outdoor kitchen. This one is great for family bonding! At night, they can roast meat or marshmallow outside and stay in tents.
In all, an outdoor kitchen can be anything. Anyone may also have it. Truly, AIA's suggestion of getting it will surely be a blast for any home.
