Renzo Piano Designs 36-Story Hotel and Apartment Tower in San Francisco

The vision once put forward by the great Pritzker-winning architect Renzo Piano, a native of Italy is soon to turn into reality in its own terms. A 36 story high-rise situated on 555 Howard Street is what the initial idea of the project happened to be. It was only until last week that the world was allowed to get a glimpse of the gigantic high rise via the paperwork that has been let out by the Planning Department of the city.

According to Arch Daily, the work of excellence is to be located in the Transbay neighborhood of San Francisco city. The entire design of the Renzo Piano building includes the planning of 69 residential spaces with a total number of 255 rooms. Renzo Piano is a renowned name in his own genre and has been cherishing a career that spans over 4 decades. While speaking of an architect who can pull through a project and design of this stature in the city of San Francisco, Piano happens to be the first name that can cross one's mind.

The California Academy of Sciences is the first of the exceptional work that has been put forward by the maestro in the city. Not just a building, the architectural piece stands tall as an example of the most precise and accurate work of architecture possible. According to the New York Times, the building stood out to be "a comforting reminder of the civilizing function of great art in a barbaric age".

The sole and the prime aim of the building on Howard Street is not to put forward an absolutely holistic approach to the entire thing, but to bring about a massive deal of expansion in terms of the space that it provides. Speaking of the perks, there are plenty. However, one of the prime attractions of the building is sure to be the splendid rooftop terrace that is to be enjoyed by the residents.

Well, taking a look at the past records the 36-story high-rise will definitely be a gift to the city.
