Mostly, it's the last two which mainly discussed the plans for the additional episodes.
"What happened was, we initially broke an 18-episode season, and towards the end of working on that season, we were told that we had 22 episodes," EP Henderson discussed. He also added that will be a bit of trick how they will include four more with a serialized show.
In answer, everyone agreed to do four stand-alone episodes for "Lucifer" Season 3. The whole cast and staff will present it like X-Files which will focus on a sub-plot or character's origins.
