iPhone 6 Cases Available For Pre-Order Ahead Of Anticipated Unveiling Sept. 9

The iPhone 6 is still unannounced, but for those who can't wait, Korean mobile case and accessory maker Spigen has already offered up pre-orders for cases for the device, CNET reports.

The case maker reportedly based the look of the iPhone 6 on its product page based on leaked data, offering four different variants for the rumored 4.7-inch smartphone: two thin-fit cases ($15 each), an ultra-hybrid ($25), and a tough armor choice ($35). All four cases are offered in a variety of color options, as well.

To get consumers pumped, Spigen also offered up this blurb on the iPhone 6:

"The iPhone 6 could be the largest iPhone launch ever. With smartphones increasing in size, so have consumers demand for an iPhone with a larger screen. The iPhone 6 is here to answer that demand. It is all but assured that Apple will launch a 4.7 inch iPhone 6 this September. However, the more elusive 5.5 inch iPhone 6 is still mostly a mystery. Due to leaked data, we have a good idea of what the iPhone 6 will look like and we've included renders of what we believe to be some of the more accurate ones. Bigger but thinner and lighter are you excited about the new iPhone 6?"

Despite the intrigue you may be feeling, it would probably seem in your best interest to wait until the actual device releases before purchasing a case that may not fit its actual dimensions.

eanwhile, a convincing video from Youtube user iCrackUriDevice has surfaced showing the iPhone 6's alleged rear housing for the 4.7-inch model, 9to5Mac reports.

As the website notes, this is clearly not a final production unit since it does not feature the "iPhone" text, but it does fall in line with previous leaks of the alleged device. In the video, the back housing is shown compared to the iPhone 5S with the same antenna breaks shown earlier.

Specs rumors for the sixth-generation iPhone include an Apple A8, Near Field Communication (NFC) for mobile payments, Touch ID and an improved camera. The same color options offered in the iPhone 5S (Silver, Gold and Space Gray) have also been tipped in a recent alleged leak.
