Utility Electric Bikes: How These E-Bikes Prove They're The Future Of Practical Transportation

Promising utility electric bikes like these gives consumers more reasons to consider investing in these practical vehicles. The number of cars on the roads is constantly rising, so is the air pollution levels.

With so much smog in the air, drivers might need to consider using more environmentally-friendly alternatives. Fortunately for those willing to help out the environment, and save money on gas, there's utility electric bikes.

Urban Drivestyles is bringing a durable utility e-bike called "MOKE" to the market. According to DesignBoom, the MOKE can reach speeds of up to 28 miles per hour.

The top speed is not so bad compared to other utility electric bikes, but speed isn't its only defining feature. The MOKE is a durable bike which can seat up to two people, and can withstand weight of up to 400 lbs.

Its thick tires and sturdy build make this electronic bike fit for off-road use. It's versatility extends to its tech features as the MOKE comes equipped with a LCD screen and USB charging capability for mobile devices.

While there are other available utility electric bikes on the market, the MOKE is one of the few that is built for heavy duty all-terrain usage. As for technophiles looking for a more tech equipped e-bike alternative, there's the Katu e50.

Orbea's latest Katu electric bike is a technophiles delight, equipped with a high-tech display screen and controls. According to CyclingWeekly, the Katu e50's engine control unit was developed by a company who handles such components for automobile giants such as Honda, Renault and General Motors.

This utility electric bike maximizes efficiency by carefully managing its resources. The Katu e50 can go into Eco mode, where it lowers battery consumption levels when the bike's fast enough already.

There's also power mode, where the bike speed and control is significantly increased. Unlike the MOKE, the Katu uses a Bluetooth remote for its control functions as opposed to an LCD screen. With so many options for utility electric bikes on the market, it's easy for potential buyers to find one that suits their needs best.
