Enjoy The Hamptons in the Summer with These Events

The Hamptons is definitely the place to go to to look for design inspiration especially with the bevy of activities coming this summer.

The AERIN seasonal concept store which opened this weekend features AERIN home decorative accessories and candles, AERIN for LENOXtabletop, AERIN for Lee Jofa Pillow, Vladimir flowers, footwear, beach fashion and so much more. The concept store which started last year will be open until January of next year.

All throughout summer, the “EXTERIORS: The Explosion of Outdoor Furnishings” will be up for public viewing at East Hampton. EXTERIORS demonstrate how home design need not be contained in interiors alone as the exhibit present nine outdoor rooms with well-curated outdoor design products by Wendy Van Deusen, Jack Lenor Larsen, Sherri Donghia and Elizabeth Lear.

From last week until August, the North See Vintage Shop at Southampton will again sell private collections of American collectibles, vintage textiles from Frank Cassata Design, and Andrew Martin furniture.

Of course, summer in The Hamptons won’t be complete without designer show houses. From June 20-August 10, the second installation of the Holiday House will open at a new location in Watchcase, Sag Harbor. This year’s show house in partnership with HC&G will show the works of Thom Filicia, Bjornen Design, Brady Design, Campion Platt, Dale Cohen Studio, Elizabeth Dow Home, Elsa Soyars Interior Design, Huniford Design, Scott Formby, Vicente Wolf, West Chin Architects & Interior Designers, Milly de Cabrol LTD, and Tamara Magel Home.

Another would be the Hampton Designer Showhouse at Bridgehampton which will run from July 19 to September 1. The annual event will transform the Traditional Home’s Hampton Designer Showhouse with more than 25 interior designers. The event is chaired by Mario Buatta with co-chairs Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton.
