Design Concept

The thousand-five hundred square foot residence extends around an inner courtyard and a large front porch so that the family can have a chance to reside in the picturesque environment and enjoy the pleasant outdoor conditions the entire year. The architectural concept realized through the site's gentle slope with several shed roofs and multi-level floor platforms dominantly mingles into the natural contours, thus forming a concord. The guests are barged in by the floating entry steps, which are seemingly made of concrete, leading to these oversized glass pivot doors. Thus, the entry given is a few feet higher than anywhere outside.
