New ‘Mortal Kombat X’ Trailer Reveals Kano As Playable Character [VIDEO[
After speculation, a new trailer from NetherRealm Studios has revealed that Kano will in fact be a part of "Mortal Kombat X." The character is familiar to most longtime players due to him being a playable character since the inception of the series.
The clip includes an intro from series co-creator Ed Boon, who walks through Kano's three fighting styles and explains the cybernetic upgrades the character has gotten.

IGN reported last week that screenshots were leaked from a German magazine featuring the character. The website did mention that it wasn't able to verify the leaked images but they are worth taking a look at.

"Mortal Kombat X" was announced for a 2015 release on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
In other fighting game news, an extended trailer for "Tekken 7" was shown at the Bandai Namco's Fighting Game panel during this week's San Diego Comic-Con.

Taka Kawasaki, studio head at Epic Games Japan, recently discussed excitement for "Tekken 7" in a press release. Kawasaki said that the partnership between Bandai Namco and Epic Games is perfect for the next game because it will lead to great results.
