Interior Design Best Of The Year Awards Submission Deadline Is Nearing

For the last eight years every December, Interior Design hosts the Best of the Year Awards for design and architecture industry professionals to honor their innovative work developments and commodities.

Last year, the 2013 BOYAs were held at the Frank Gehry's IAC Building in Chelsea, with 900 attendees honoring the winners in 90+ categories chosen by Editor in Chief Cindy Allen and a professional expert panel.

The deadline for the 2014 product submissions is Sept. 14 and categories include Accessories, Bath, Flooring, Furniture, Lighting, Kitchen, Seating, Textiles, Wall coverings, to name only a few. For new participants, there are a rules and authorized requirements to follow; check the design regulations on the competition's homepage before applying.

Once the submissions are in, through Oct. 6-17 there is an open online voting option that invites all designers to vote their favorite choices. The finalists will be reviewed in the month of November and the final event will be hosted on Dec. 4 and the winners will be announced among the attendees.

The winner will be featured in the December Issue of Interior Design! Be sure to submit your project or products, there is no limit on submissions and tickets for the final event go on sale in September.
