Nestled at the end of a tranquil alleyway amidst the charming backdrop of an elementary school's outdoor pool and the industrial sight of exposed piping, the Renzankyo complex encountered the formidable challenge of crafting a sanctuary amidst contrasting elements. In response, Love Architecture employed a strategic U-shaped layout along the site's perimeter, deftly maneuvering to shield residents from unwanted views while carving out an inviting open space at the southwest corner. To optimize space utilization and enhance the residential experience, Love Architecture meticulously crafted a flat-type room approach on the third floor, strategically minimizing the need for stairs and maximizing internal pathways.
