Home Textiles Award For Best New Products Goes To Alya Collection
According to Home Furnishings News, the Alya Collection by Antiocha USA has attracted many for their Turkish towels entirely made of cotton, double sided and created by traditional hand looms.
The Alya Collection will be on display at one of New York's largest trade shows, NY Now, which entails 2,800+ exhibitors featuring collections in Home, Lifestyle, Handmade and New categories. With this recognition, Alya is eligible for the trade show's "Best of Home" award that will be announced during this week's market week, along with competitors in four other individual categories; bed, bath, dining and accessories.
Collections by Lazybones, Home and Loft, Walter G, and Doggiedasherie's by George are also nominees along with Alya for the "Best of Home" award, and will be determined by online balloting via facebook.
Danielle Giacoponello, NY Now Home and Furnishings + Textiles sales manager, told HFN, "The Best New Product Awards recognize excellence in design, as well as functionality and saleability. This year's slate of winners and finalists, which spans five continents, excelled at blending these elements."
NY Now event is held at the Javits Convention Center and will be continuing until Aug. 20. For more information visit: nynow.com
