In a report by the Hollywood Reporter, it got a very exclusive interview with "100" Creator Jason Rothenberg. He specifically shared a lot of thing about Clarke's journey to Earth and her perseverance to win over the nuclear explosion that can wipe out the planet. Hence, it will bring "death wave" on the road.
To begin, it started with a short spoiler for "Echoes." It's actually the first episode for "100" season 4 which apparently already done by now on its premier. Accordingly, the group has embarked on Earth and they already met with catastrophe with Grounders, Echo, and other villains on return.
The problem Clarke is facing right now doesn't sum up with the holocaust that is still very real on the show. And, the interview with Rothenberg cleared the air about it that it's surely not another ALIE lie for everyone. The knowledge now sets off higher tension for the fans, the clock is ticking yet it seems to be not a concern for the others.
With regards to the word "death wave," it's also clarified to be the name for the holocaust everyone will soon face. From the name itself, there seems to be a big mass of death waiting.
