Oslo Design Fair 2017: Sweden, Denmark Renowned Artists Participate

Oslo Design Fair 2017 recently finished off with success. Several speakers and exhibitors gathered for the third edition of Norway's largest trades show around the theme: "Everyday Rituals." Renowned artists coming from Sweden and Denmark participated in the Oslo Design Fair this year including Tina Hellberg and Gitte Kjaer.

The Oslo Design Fair was also attended by renowned Norwegian artist Per Olav Sølvberg who, along with Hellberg and Kjaer recreated their own studios. In addition, the Oslo Design fair also featured the "Tendency" exhibition whose curator was Kirsten Visdal. This year's artists also focused on various angles revolving around the theme such as home decor and architecture, as well as food.

It has been revealed that interest in Nordic furniture has grown within the past few years with numerous innovative brands that put together, style, quality and functionality, Interior Design.net reported. The Oslo Design Fair also highlighted such Norwegian brands as LK Hjelle and MENT. Moreover, the Swedish exhibitor PR Home was also present at the Oslo Design Fair 2017 along with the Danish companies Handvärk and Reflections Copenhagen.

On that note, the designer  Hallgeir Homstvedt for LK Hjelle showcased the Niu Sofa at the Oslo Design Fair. The Danish architect Poul Cadovius also featured the Abstracta System N-Serie at the Oslo Design Fair for Clarius AS. Moreover, the Danish brand Bruunmunch was also seen at the Oslo Design Fair with the Reason Sofa in Kvadrat fabric designed by Peter Barreth.

The Oslo Design Fair also featured the Casablanca Lamp and Iron Nesting Tables by the Danish brand A.U Maison and the Malou Lamps by PR Home. The designers Julie Hugau and Andrea Larsson of Reflections Copenhagen also revealed a masterpieces like the Arizona Ball and the Glam Rock Table with handcrafted mirrors, Floor Focus reported.

MENT also featured the SKRÅ porcelain Candle Holder and the NIST ceramic hanging Flower Pot.  Watch the Oslo Design Fair here:
