Interior Car Detailing From American Vehicles Show Noticeable Disparity Compared To Its Competition

Interior car detailing in American automobiles are showing signs of age compared to other more tech savvy imported automobile manufacturers. The automobile industry is an ever-evolving market that constantly grows through new advancements in technology.

In every year, automakers come up with new versions of the same models albeit with new improvements over its predecessor. However, some American automobile companies are not at par with the tech found in cars from rival automakers around the world, in terms of interior car detailing.

Ford in particular, is producing sub-par tech in their latest models such as the Fusion or the Escape. According to Sudbury, certain Ford models feature simplistic interior car detailing. The source specified that these look like "last-minute" additions to models that are supposedly up to date. In addition, the plastic panels make up for a more cheaply constructed look instead of a more sophisticated one.

Other automakers from around the world are stepping their game up in their latest vehicle models. The same source even mentioned how better the interior car detailing for the Hyundai Elantra is compared to Ford's. Considering that the price for the Hyundai Elantra starts at $17,150, consumers get a more polished interior with more up-to-date tech as well. On the other hand, the Ford Fusion is more expensive, with a retail price starting at $22,000.

Despite the Fusion being a lot more expensive than the Elantra, its interior car detailing pales in comparison. This leaves American cars in the budget range, a lot more to be desired compared to foreign rival automakers.

European companies aren't disregarding interior car detailing in their vehicles either. According to Automobile, next year's Range Rover Velar features an interior that's described as a "calm sanctuary."

Car enthusiasts know that interior car detailing is a very finicky department thus placing importance in it is crucial in coming up with the latest model. This is specially true in the modern era, where consumers are relying more on technology in their vehicle's dashboard.

With the advancements in personal tech, consumers expect to use their smartphones and gadgets with their vehicles. However, it's never too late for American manufacturers to put more emphasis on interior car detailing as well.
