Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 will be unveiled next week at IFA 2014 in Berlin, but the leaks about the device's alleged features keep rolling in.
SamMobile has continued the steady stream of updates with a new report that tips the smartphone for the same fingerprint sensor packed into the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Alpha - albeit with new features on-board.
The device's Synaptics Natural ID sensor will not only offer the Screen Lock, Private Mode, Samsung Account Verification and PayPal payments features offered in its fellow Sammy companions, but also a new Fingerprint Shortcuts and Web Sign-in mode.
The Fingerprint Shortcuts feature will allow users to match up different fingerprints to different apps, quickly launching an app through the lock screen. Web Sign-in mode will similarly give users the option to log on to certain sites if they are assigned to fingerprints.
SamMobile also previously leaked alleged details about the Note 4'sUltrasonic cover and camera, which appears to pack better specs and features than its predecessor to help lure consumers with the impending release of new iPhone models.
The Note 4's alleged specs include a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 1,440x2,560-pixel display, a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), 4GB of RAM and16GB, 32GB, or 64GB store options with microSD card availability for up to 128GB.
Depending on the region you live in, the device will come with one of two CPUs: a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 chip or an octa-core Exynos 5433 with four 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 and four Cortex-A57 cores. CNET notes that the Snapdragon has been rumored for the US, with the Exynos headed to international markets.
The device will also reportedly come with Android 4.4.3 KitKat and 802.11ac with a price tag of $813 or €607.
