"Quantico" Season 3 has reportedly been delayed to 2018 due to Priyanka Chopra's unavailability. The actress, who previously played the role of Alex Parrish is slated to play a role in the upcoming Baywatch flick opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. Moreover, the actress reportedly gets a major pay hike due to her success.
Season 3 Axes Chopra's Role
It should be noted that Chopra plays the role of a bright FBI recruit in Season 1 of the series, who later became the prime suspect of a terrorist attack. In "Quantico" Season 2, Alex gets fired from the FBI, but still worked for the agency as an undercover. The "Quantico" Season 3 Executive producer Joshua Safran, however, teased that a big twist is slated for the upcoming storyline that may largely impact Chopra's character.
"Quantico" Season 3 rumors, on the other hand, are surfacing that the release date will be delayed to 2018 due to the actress' unavailability. Apparently, the former Miss World has already signed up for the next "Baywatch."

Note that by 3rd season, talents usually receive a monetary increase per episode.
