iPhone 6 Rumors Emerge for September Release

Apple will be releasing its new iPhone 6 on Sept. 9 and the details of the launch remain unknown but there are rumors, of course.

According to Apple Insider, Apple may stick to its tradition of releasing the iPhone for sale on Sept. 19.

Speculations are that two versions of the phone will be released, both of different sizes - a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch option. The latter will challenge Samsung's larger smartphones.

Expecting great demand for the phone, Apple has asked suppliers to make between 70-80 million phones by the end of the year.

Rumors say that the phone will have a much larger battery life than the previous models. Apple insider said that a new 2,100mAh battery might be installed in the next generation of iPhones, which is a 45.8 percent increase from the current 1,440mAh model currently being used in the iPhone 5s.

According to Cult of Mac, the screen will be made of sapphire crystal, leading many to believe the screens will be unbreakable.

The new iPhone will be faster than the previous generations. Compared to the iPhone 5s's 1.3GHz per core, the iPhone 6 will be installed with an A8 chip, which performs at 2.0 GHz per core.

One thing is certain however.

Luxury design and accessory company Brikk is taking pre-orders for what will be a luxurious version of the next iPhone 6, plated in 24-carat yellow gold. The 4.7-inch model will be finished in pure platinum.

Brikk Will offer a 1-year warranty for its device and ensure that it is shipped 3-4 weeks after the official iPhone 6 release by Apple Corporation.

The demand for an iPhone with a larger screen will without a doubt trigger a massive buying spree for the phone. Smartphones with bigger screens increasing their share of the total market, especially in countries like China.

Apple committed a total of $21 billion to third-party manufacturers for components and equipment, as they get ready for the incoming announcements of new products.
