Tyler Perry’s 22.5-Acre Beverly Hills Estate Hits the Market for $57 Million

Tyler Perry is putting one of his most notable California properties on the market as he prepares for a major change in his personal and professional life. The filmmaker has listed his sprawling Beverly Hills estate for $57 million, just weeks after revealing that he plans to relocate to Puerto Rico in early 2027.
The property officially hit the market on September 29, according to recent reporting, and is being represented by Santiago Arana of The Agency. Set within the gated Beverly Ridge Estates community, the estate encompasses approximately 22.5 acres and includes a 24,592-square-foot main residence.
The listing comes shortly after Perry publicly discussed his plans for a different pace of life. During a September appearance on Today With Jenna & Sheinelle, the 57-year-old entertainment mogul said he intended to move to Puerto Rico at the beginning of 2027 and "pull back a whole lot" from work. He also spoke about wanting to spend more time with his 11-year-old son, Aman.
Inside Tyler Perry's 24,592-Square-Foot Beverly Hills Estate
Perry's Beverly Hills property is considerably more than a traditional luxury home. The Mediterranean-style residence was completed in 2012 after Perry purchased the land for approximately $4.3 million in 2004.
Current listing information describes a sprawling residence with nine bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, along with formal entertaining spaces, a chef's kitchen, private study and family room.
The primary suite is designed as a private retreat, with its own fireplace, secluded deck, dual spa-inspired bathrooms and individual walk-in closets. The suite also includes a sitting room as well as dedicated massage and salon spaces.
Entertainment is another major focus of the home. The estate features a home theater, game room, music hall, wine storage and gym, giving the property the amenities expected of a large-scale celebrity compound.
Outside, the grounds include expansive terraces, a swimming pool and a separate guesthouse. Staff quarters are also included, adding another layer of privacy and functionality to the extensive estate.
A Beverly Hills Home With Famous Connections
The property has an unusually high-profile history beyond Perry's ownership.
In 2020, the estate became particularly well known after Perry allowed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to stay there after they relocated to the United States. The couple remained at the property temporarily before establishing a permanent home in California.
The home has also hosted other notable figures, including Oprah Winfrey and former President Barack Obama, according to recent reports.
Perry's connection with Harry and Meghan later extended beyond their stay at the estate. Meghan and Harry named Perry godfather to their daughter, Princess Lilibet, after he supported them during their transition to life in the United States.

The $57 Million Listing Comes Amid a Broader Real Estate Shift
The Beverly Hills listing is not the only major property Perry has put on the market.
Earlier this year, his Jackson Hole, Wyoming, retreat was listed for $39.5 million, bringing the combined asking price of the two properties to approximately $96.5 million.
Perry continues to have significant real estate interests elsewhere, including properties connected to his business operations in Georgia and a private island in the Bahamas. His Beverly Hills listing therefore represents a change in his portfolio rather than a complete departure from luxury real estate ownership.
His decision to sell the California estate does, however, align with the relocation plans he recently disclosed. Perry has said that getting older caused him to reconsider how much time he wanted to devote to work, with spending more time with his son becoming an important consideration.
Tyler Perry's Next Chapter Takes Him Away From Beverly Hills
For a property that has served as Perry's California base for more than a decade, the $57 million listing marks a significant transition.
The estate was built according to Perry's vision after he acquired the land in 2004, transforming a sizable Beverly Hills parcel into a highly private compound. Now, with a potential sale and a planned move to Puerto Rico, the property is entering a new chapter of its own.
For prospective buyers, the estate offers considerable scale, privacy and a long list of luxury amenities. For Perry, its listing appears alongside a broader decision to spend less time in California and rethink how he balances his entertainment career with his personal life.
The property remains available for $57 million, with Santiago Arana of The Agency handling the listing.
