Google Chrome Guide, Tips & Tricks: Useful Features That Not Many Know About

Google Chrome is not only one of the fastest browser available today but also comes with numerous features that not many may know about. Just recently, the browser just got an upgrade and is now equipped with QR scanner code and support for VR content according to an article published by Business Insider. But before learning about its new features, its good to also know all the useful feature it already has and takes advantage of it.

Gizbot reports one of its useful features is the auto-fill in option. This feature is usually enabled by default and will automatically save the data the user has entered before. In this way, the data will fill up the box on its own whenever the user needs to for another website. However, there is more to that feature that not many knows about. Users can also create profiles for other people so that it will also automatically fill up even when it's not under the same name.

Another feature Google Chrome is equipped with is browsing the internet with extra privacy. This is particularly helpful for users sharing a PC because all their browsing and download history will not be stored in the browser. This is called the incognito mode or shortcut buttons Ctrl + Shift + N and a new browser window will appear on the screen.

Next is the guest browsing option which allows the user to open a new browser that a guest can use. With this feature, the owner’s personal data will not be seen or accessed by the guest user. Users can even create a different profile for each guest so each user will have a browser according to the setting they want. Each profile can have their own preset homepage, browsing and download history that will not be seen by another user on their own profile in Google Chrome.
