How Will Paris’ Post-Brexit Seven Skyscrapers Look Like? Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Foster + Partners, & More Architects Team Up

Paris recently announced that seven skyscrapers will soon rise in its La Defense district. Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Foster + Partners, Christian de Portzamparc and four more architect firms will join hands in delivering project's architectural design. Hence, here are the possible looks that they will have.

According to Design Times, La Defense district "Tired of the Fog? Try the frogs!" campaign leads the project. And Air 2, M2, Alto, Trinity, Tours Sisters, Hermitage and Tekla, the seven superstructures will soon house big businesses that are affected by Brexit in the U.K.

Archdaily reported each skyscrapers' look, here's Ateliers Jean Nouvel with Hekla to begin. With 200m height and 80,000sqm area, this structure is surely stunning with asymmetrical glass. The architecture looks like a big chunk of diamond from its proposed design.

Next, Foster & Partners' Hermitage is another Paris' arriving masterpiece. This one has slightly taller height at 320m and wider space at 260,000sqm. The place will divide into a hotel and offices. Its stalactite form will likewise get glass exteriors.

Tours Sisters by Christian de Portzamparc will get two towers which one is 100m smaller than the other. Its 95,000sqm will also function as accommodation and business center. Its trendy twin design set forward its nice wide facade.

While Crochon-Brullmann and Associates' Trinity might look ordinary. Yet, its 140m height and 49,500sqm area is not something to leave behind. In contrast to its simplicity, IF Architectes proposed a luxurious look for Alto. It's 150m tall and 51,000sqm area will get a stunning luminous glasses.

Valode and Pistre Architects on M2 presented an ice-queen. This iridescent crystal exterior building will be 165m tall and 49,000 wide. Its upper-glassed terrace perhaps is the winning part of this skyscraper.

Air 2 by Agence Arquitectonica with its height of 202m and area of 75,000sqm is also an elegant beauty. Its lucent facade covers the entire architecture while it stands tall beside the others.

Lastly, Dezeen shared that Paris skyscraper family will roll its red carpet by 2019-2022. Each will become the new European home for many talents and professionals looking.
