The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat just awarded the fourth honor to Ping An Finance Center in Shenzen, China. It's now official that One World Trade Center went one rank down because of it.

Ping An Finance Center is already a history maker in China long before it became known across the globe. It's all started in Shenzhen where it's the star then it became the country's second tallest. These are also part of the skyscraper's details that was gathered by CTBUH.

Before Ping An Finance Center was announced as the newest fourth tallest in the world. CTBUH's professionals carefully studied details regarding it. The height and data of the building were closely monitored on Tall Building Information & Resources division.

In another report by Archdaily, it also shared interesting details regarding Ping An Finance Centers. It also noted Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates design details.

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates is the designer behind Ping An Finance Center. It created the building in the center of Shenzhen's Futian District. It's 100 floors consists of a large public space, multi-storey atrium, restaurants, transits and more.

When CTBUH described Ping An Finance Center, it remarkably noted its tower form which has an outstretched steel cables and pyramid style facade. The word "prismatic aesthetic" stuck on its statement.

Ping An Finance Center facade must be one of the CTBUH because Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates intently focused on it. The materials and design were built to withstand time and all other elements. It's one of the cutting-edge features the design studio is really proud of.
