The Windows 10 mobile phone Neo, by NuAns, is made into a more powerful handset after switching to Android Nougat 7.1. Japanese tech company NuAns built a beefy Windows 10 smartphone.
However, consumers were not entirely sold on the Windows mobile operating system. Windows 10 mobile isn't as flexible compared to the more popular Android OS.
This made the Japan-based company to make a switch from Windows 10 mobile to Android's latest version, Nougat. The new NuAns phone is now re-branded as the Neo Reloaded.
According to GSMArena, the handset comes with a hefty $440 price tag. The price tag definitely doesn't sound like a budget to mid-range Windows 10 mobile smartphone price range.
Justifiably so, since the Neo Reloaded comes with some beefy specs as well. While the Neo Reloaded certainly looks catchy with its interchangeable covers with various colors, it's what's under the hood that does its price tag justice.
According to PhoneRadar, the Neo Reloaded sports a 64-bit Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. It also comes with an Adreno 506 GPU with an outstanding 3GB RAM. While these types of specs an greatly benefit any Windows 10 Mobile Phone, it works even better on an Android system.
Another notable feature include is a fingerprint sensor, something that benefits Google's Android more than Windows 10 mobile phone devices. When it comes to battery, Nuans' latest handset is no light weight, as it carries a juicy 3,450mAh battery. This gives the handset a lengthy 15 hours talk time with over 300 hours standby time.
The Neo Reloaded also rocks a 13MP main camera with an 8MP shooter in the front. The handset is also both water and dust resistant. Ditching the Windows 10 Mobile phone OS in favor of the more popular Android, might be the best move for NuAns.
