Eva Mendes Wanted to Be an Interior Designer? 'I Would be Architect, Florist if I Wasn't an Actress!' Dishes on New Fashion Collection
Eva Mendes is a great actress, but if she hadn't have been an actress she thinks she could have seen herself with a career in interior design.
She told E!News "If I wasn't an actress, I would be an architect and an interior designer...yes, definitely!" she offered, without missing a beat. "And a florist! Oh, I love making floral arrangements," she added with a grin.
Mendes has dabbled in design with her debut fashion line for New York and Company; a glam collection of vintage-inspired pieces designed to be "modern and feminine".
She said to Lucky Magazine last year, "My customer is not a fan of the way tabloids cover celebrity style, "Who wore it best." It's disastrous for women's self-esteem. With fashion, there is no right or wrong."
Mendes also serves as Vogue Eyewear's Global Brand Ambassador.
